A healthcare patient portal with appointment booking, telemedicine video consultations, and health record management for a medical practice. This project represents Webmint's approach to mobile — combining thoughtful design with technical precision to deliver a product that meets real business objectives.
What We Were Solving
Healthcare applications have strict requirements around data privacy, accessibility, and reliability. The challenge was to create a patient portal that was simple enough for all age groups to use, while meeting the security and compliance requirements of a medical context.
How We Approached It
We built a React Native application with a clean, accessible interface designed for users of all ages. The appointment booking flow was simplified to three steps. Telemedicine is integrated directly in the app. Health records are displayed in a clear, readable format without medical jargon.

Technology Stack

Design & UX
The design prioritizes clarity and accessibility. Large touch targets, high contrast, and clear typography make the app usable for patients of all ages. The color system uses calming blues and greens appropriate for a healthcare context. Critical information (appointment times, medication dosages) is displayed prominently.
Performance Approach
The app uses optimistic UI updates for a responsive feel. Health records are cached locally for offline access. Images and documents are lazy-loaded. Push notifications use Expo's notification service for reliable delivery across both platforms.
