Project Overview

A K-12 learning management system with live classes, assignment management, progress tracking, and a parent communication portal. This project represents Webmint's approach to web design — combining thoughtful design with technical precision to deliver a product that meets real business objectives.

The Challenge

What We Were Solving

Educational platforms need to serve multiple user types — students, teachers, and parents — each with different needs and permissions. The challenge was to create a unified platform that felt appropriate and intuitive for each user type without becoming overly complex.

The Solution

How We Approached It

We built a role-based platform with distinct interfaces for students, teachers, and parents. The student interface focuses on assignments and progress. The teacher interface emphasizes class management and grading. The parent portal provides oversight without overwhelming detail.

Technology Stack

The technologies used in this project were selected based on the specific requirements — performance, scalability, and maintainability.

Design & UX

The design uses a clean, approachable aesthetic appropriate for an educational context. Color coding helps users quickly identify different content types — assignments, announcements, grades. The student interface uses larger text and simpler navigation to accommodate younger users.

Performance Approach

Server-side rendering for initial page loads ensures fast time-to-content. Real-time features (notifications, live class status) use Supabase Realtime subscriptions. Images and video thumbnails are lazy-loaded.
