This project represents Webmint's approach to web design — combining thoughtful design with technical precision to deliver a product that meets real business objectives.

What We Were Solving

The hospitality industry relies heavily on direct bookings to avoid third-party commission fees. The challenge was to create a website that could compete with major booking platforms in terms of user experience while maintaining the premium brand identity of a luxury hotel chain. The previous website was slow, not mobile-optimized, and lacked a direct booking capability.

We designed and built a performance-first hotel website with an integrated booking system. The design prioritizes visual storytelling — large photography, immersive property showcases — while maintaining a clear path to booking. The booking flow was simplified to minimize steps and reduce abandonment.

Design

Design & UX

The design uses a dark, sophisticated color palette with warm gold accents to communicate luxury. Large, full-bleed photography is central to the visual language. Typography is clean and editorial. The booking flow was designed to be as simple as possible — date selection, room choice, and payment in three clear steps.

Performance

Performance Approach

Built with Next.js for server-side rendering and static generation. Images are served in modern formats with responsive sizing. The booking interface is client-side rendered only where interactivity is needed, keeping the initial page load fast.
